Skiwax Europe celebrates 10 years as the Official waxing partner of Estoloppet marathon series!

For a decade now, Skiwax Europe has proudly served as the official waxing partner for the Estoloppet Marathon Series – a collection of six exciting cross-country ski marathons held in Estonia.

In preparation for each marathon, we conduct thorough wax tests on the racecourse to ensure that competitors' skis are equipped with the best possible waxing solutions.

Today, we share the results of the wax tests from the first stage of Estoloppet, the 38th Viru Marathon.

RACE AND WEATHER CONDITIONS

Air Temperature: -5°C

Snow Temperature: -2°C

Air and Snow Humidity: High

Trail Conditions: Approximately 5cm of fresh snow from the previous day, pressed down and groomed in the evening.

WAX TEST RESULTS

Conducted from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM, the ranking was determined through parallel tests using specially calibrated ski pairs for wax testing.

In adherence to the new season regulations, including the Estoloppet, the use of fluorinated waxes is prohibited.

As the official waxing partner, we exclusively use fluorine-free products for Estoloppet ski maintenance.
